10 Batman Plot-Holes Everyone Just Accepts
2. Jason Todd Talks About Being Wingman, Before He Was Wingman - Red Hood & The Outlaws #17
Detective Comics #18 sees Bruce talking about how Joker took Alfred (clearly in reference to The Death of the Family story) and how after that he lost his son (Batman Incorporated).
During the Red Hood tie-ins to Death of the Family, two key things happen that don't make sense when considering this order of events: Jason's face is badly scarred by the Joker, and he also refers to his and Damian's time as Wingman & Red Bird.
Therefore, if Batman Incorporated took place after Death of the Family, then Jason's time as Wingman had not happened yet, meaning he was remembering an event that would not occur until later. Also, when Jason takes his mask off in Inc., his face is not scarred.
Weird stuff.
