10 Best Batman & Joker Stories Ever Written

10. Joker's Favor

Joker's Favor was a brilliant episode of Batman: The Animated Series, which aired as part of the first season in September 1992. Having been involved in a small collision with The Joker on the road, a man named Charlie Collins curses at the Clown Prince of Crime. Big mistake. This resulted the villain confronting him and scaring him into doing him a "small favor" for him at some point in the future. After two years, The Joker eventually decided what favor he wanted Charlie to do for him - and that was to sneak a bomb into the Peregrinator's Club, where Commissioner Gordon would be at an awards ceremony delivering a speech. Charlie's role was as simple as having to open the door - something he was naturally sceptical about - but he reluctantly went ahead with it in order to keep his family safe. Of course, The Joker had other plans for Charlie, making his task considerably less simple than it seemed (such as gluing his hand to the door in question, for starters). The episode also marked the debut of Harley Quinn, adding to its appeal.
