Following the aftermath of the shocking Secret Invasion storyline, Norman Osbourne enacts a somehow successful scheme involving the replacement of every mainline Avenger with their villainous counterparts, no one could take the place of the Black Widow any better than her own sister Yelena Belova.
Yelena's Black Widow costume is similar yet different from Natasha's usual red and black outfit, using far more of the color green in its designs. Yelena also uses a four-scoped pair of night vision goggles that help her zoom in on any target from wherever she is perched. Her skintight jumpsuit is most likely something taken from Natasha's wardrobe, as it still bears her traditional gauntlet pair and a belt with the hourglass symbol embedded in the belt buckle.
This villainous version of Black WIdow does a good job of imitating the original and even reaching a new high in skill and strength, but while Yelena's outfit may be similar, this blonder Black Widow does not cut it the same as her older sister.
