Were you to be on the fence about whether you wanted to read The Batman Who Laughs spin-off series, you need answer only one question: are you down to watch Bruce Wayne beat on his evil doppelganger with his mother's tombstone?
If you answered yes, then congratulations - you chose the right answer, because the scene where Dark Knight finally defeats the Batman Who Laughs is magically split between one of Batman's most badass fight scenes, and one of his most ridiculous.
It's rife with cool moves - Batman even launching harpoons into his enemy at one point - but again, that tombstone pile-driver is a very real moment from the issue, leaving you torn between adoration for the comic, and confusion at why exactly Wayne has decided to physically weaponise the graves of his beloved dead parents.
