10 Best DC Rebirth Comics (So Far)

James Tynion IV is certainly no stranger to Batman, and now he's been tasked with taking Detective Comics into Rebirth. How does it hold up?

For starters, Tynion's made it more than just a pure Batman book, changing Detective Comics into a series that now incorporates a large team of supporting Gotham characters. The most significant member of this team isn't Batman, but Batwoman, who is treated as an equal team leader.

This rebooted Detective Comics acknowledges that Batman does not work best as a solo character, but is at his peak when surrounded by others. Tynion, along with numerous artists, have been delivering some of the darker and more emotional stories to be found in the medium. This comic shows Batman as a flawed protector of his city and as a character that is only strengthened by those around him.
