2. The Flash
Flash hit the ground running with a great first arc in Rebirth. The series (written by Joshua Williamson and drawn by Carmine Di Giandomenico), introduces a new and indeed threatening villain in the evil speedster, Godspeed. The story thus far has also included the majority of his past rogues gallery along with an expanded origin on the Reverse Flash.
To date, this is writer Joshua Williamson's longest running DC comics title, and he is handling the series with a notable respect for the character's iconic history. When it comes to art, Di Giandomenico portrays speed and movement skilfully, which is a total prerequisite for drawing a Flash comic.
Williamson shows a clear love for both the long lasting Flash comics and also the TV show simultaneously. The series is also one of the key comics to read in connection with Watchmen and the upcoming Doomsday Clock miniseries coming this fall.
