10 Best DC Rebirth Comics (So Far)
1. Batman
Fresh off of his acclaimed run on Vision over at Marvel, DC locked down up and coming talent Tom King with an exclusive contract. With this contract came DC's biggest title, Batman, which has continuously gotten better as time goes on.
What makes King's writing unique is his approach to taking a more introspective look at the Dark Knight. With other writers, Batman can often take a back seat to his more colorful villains. Instead, King delves deep into the psychology of the Caped Crusader and what really makes him tick, all the while still taking down criminals in Gotham City.
A true collaboration can be felt with King and artist Mikel Janin. Janin provides stunning panel layouts with every issue, lending a real cinematic quality to the title. Janin also draws the best punches in the comics business, making every hit feel brutal and visceral.
Batman has been consistently one of the top 10 comics sold every month since King and Janin took over, and with good reason. Batman stands out as DC's best Rebirth title to date.
