10 Best Moments From Charles Soule's Daredevil
1. The Death Of Daredevil
When you think of great moments from any story, the death of the main character often isn't high on the list. However, Matthew Murdock's death was something that practically no other comic book hero's has been: low-key.
Instead of saving the entire multiverse, Daredevil's death finally exemplified a mantra that has prevailed throughout superhero media, namely - you don't think about saving everyone, but rather, just one person.
In displaying this, Soule has shown what it truly means to be a hero, in a genre where too often actual heroism is overshadowed by ridiculous tales which revolve around aliens chasing after a few shiny stones, or crazy clowns or killing sprees - a notion which should, on its own, secure the comic - if not the entire run - as one of the true greats of the decade.
