10 Best Moments From Charles Soule's Daredevil

2. Muse's Defeat

Daredevil By Phil Noto
Marvel Comics

Though it may be slightly more clichéd than what we're going to discuss in the next entry, Muse's defeat at the hands of Blindspot and Daredevil is a classic example of heroism, no matter the personal cost.

The villain, who is easily the best addition to the Marvel Universe found in this run, was on a disturbing quest for art, using people (alive or dead) to create his 'masterpieces'. As such, Murdock and his new, superhero partner, Blindspot, saw this maniac as a bit of a threat, and went after him.

Chung was the first to reach the antagonist's hideout in an attempt to stop Muse's despicable scheme, and while trying to save a group of people, lost his eyes.

Of course, Daredevil was there to finish the job, but not before the damage had been done, and in one of the more sombre scenes in the series, the day was won, but not without a cost.
