10 Best Moments From Charles Soule's Daredevil

5. The Beast Is Slayed

Other than Wilson Fisk or Bullseye, the Hand are easily Daredevil's most enduring enemy, so seeing him defeat them is always a delight.

Following the arrival of Murdock's priest, Father Jordan, as well as the freeing of street level heroes like Luke Cage and Spider-Man, the fight was well and truly taken to the Beast and his minions, in a showdown that could rival the likes of those found in the best of movies, let alone comics.

Riding into the battle on a horse, sword in hand, Daredevil was truly New York's knight in shining armour. Accompanied by fellow Defenders and other allies, like Elektra, Blindspot and the Order of the Dragon, he was unstoppable, and, my God, did the Hand know it.

In slaying the Beast, the city was rid of the ninja-death-cult and Matt was free to go back to sassing Fisk, giving readers a massively satisfying end to a great arc.
