10 Best Moments From Charles Soule's Daredevil

6. Blindspot Defends The People Of Chinatown

Daredevil By Phil Noto
Marvel Comics

One of Soule's additions to the Daredevil mythos, Blindspot, AKA Samuel Chung, is an undocumented immigrant living in America, who is the defender of Chinatown.

Chung, during his time as a cleaner at Columbia University, used the resources available there to develop an invisibility suit, eventually catching the attention of the Man Without Fear during one of his patrols. Murdock began training him, and since then the character has more than made his mark as a hero.

With his mother being tied to the Church of Tenfingers, Sam often wound up being more criminal than crusader in his everyday life, even after meeting with Daredevil. Though, when the Hand attacked the church, Blindspot finally proved himself to be on the side of the angels, defending the congregation from ninjas and his own mother alike, something which proved, - to both Murdock and the reader - that Chung is more than worthy of the 'hero' label.
