John Constantine might be the unluckiest SOB in all of comics, as he’s often referred to as “the demon guy” due to his run-ins with - you guessed it - demonic entities.
One is known as The First, a demon who John bargained his own soul with to save the life of another. However, he tricked him and sold it to others too. This causes The First and others to torture John a lot.
He also has run into various other villains like Papa Midnight, Manny (a former friend), Mnemoth, King of Vampires, Rosacarnis, and Julian. He also had an altercation with The Family Man, a sadistic serial killer who loved killing entire families just for fun.
John is one of many to have a run-in with the sorcerer known as Felix Faust, a character so powerful, he once took on the entire Justice League.
Since Constantine deals with Hell and the afterlife a lot, that also includes various other religious characters. This is why he has battled The Archangel Gabriel as well as The Anti-Christ.
