Romantic or otherwise, Felicia Hardy has always been a hugely influential presence in the life of Peter Parker.

Meeting shortly after another MJ argument, Black Cat began a very passionate and intimate relationship with Spider-Man while treading a fine line between vigilante and criminal. A stark contrast to the serious and heavy relationships Peter had previously, Felicia provided a sorely missing sense of fun into the life of crimefighting - one Peter found hard to turn down.

Unfortunately for Spidey, It was this constant search for thrills that eventually led to the split with Peter realising that he needed a steadier and more substantial relationship than rooftop 'acrobatics'.

After a trip away, Peter returned to New York to rekindle his romance with long time squeeze Mary Jane, as ending all romantic ties with Felicia in the process. Hell hath no fury like a Cat scorned and it took a long time to forgive and forget, with her crimes ramping up considerably in the meantime.

In recent years Felicia has forgiven and forgotten all, although she still carries a major torch for the Spider (just not so much the civilian underneath the spandex).
