10 Best Times Spider-Man Teamed Up

The comic, Marvel Team Up #86, had the Guardians of the Galaxy pop down from space to help Spider-Man take out two thugs and recover some otherworldly technology. The two thugs in question are named Hammer and Anvil, a pair of men who are super strong but only when cuffed together by a power gauntlet.

While the heroes join forces to reclaim the future technology as well as stolen S.H.I.E.L.D data, they also had to contend with an overzealous reporter looking for the scoop of the century.

In a world where mutants and superheroes already exist, his photos of aliens who more-or-less appear human probably wouldn't be as big of a story as he hoped for to be honest.

In spite of that, though, the team rescue the data and prevent the reporter from unveiling the existence of the planet-hopping Guardian to the world. All in a day's work, I suppose.
