10 Best Transformers Comics Every Fan Must Read

A result of the IDW reboot of the comics, this is perhaps the deepest and most innovative storytelling the Transformers franchise has ever seen.

Set after the conclusion of the Autobot-Decepticon war, More Than Meets the Eye, also known as Lost Light, sees a rag-tag team of protagonists set off across the galaxy. Their goal was to seek out the legendary Knights of Cybertron.

Travelling the galaxy on board the ship known as the Lost Light, these misfits take the audience on a wacky adventure ride that they won’t ever forget. It brings the kind of absurdist fun that made Deadpool or Thor: Ragnarok such smash hits.

If all that wasn’t enough, it re-introduces Megatron, as a freakin' good guy… or at least as part of the same crew as the Autobots.

Reimaginings and new characters are the orders of the day for this masterpiece. Many of these characters are given do-overs, resulting in a wonderful range of enjoyable personas.
