10 Best Vampires In Comics

2. Dracula - The Tomb Of Dracula

Blade Vampires
Marvel Comics

The most famous vampire of them all, Count Dracula is no stranger to the comic book page. Indeed, he was a frequent player for 1970s Marvel, heading up his own comic book series in their Tomb of Dracula.

This 70-issue series follows a team of vampire hunters as they battle Dracula (and other supernatural threats) in a series of stories heavily inspired by Hammer and Universal horror pictures of the time. The heaviest hitter in Marvel's line of horror comics, he would also headline Dracula Lives!, Giant-Size Dracula and the black-and-white spinoff The Tomb of Dracula.

Beyond his own series, Dracula would tangle with the larger Marvel universe, battling not only Blade but also the likes of the X-Men and Doctor Strange. His influence has diminished over time, but with Mahershala Ali's Blade set to join the MCU, the door is always open for Count Dracula to make his big return to the big-time. After all, trends change over time, and the man is immortal.
