10 Best X-Men Costume Redesigns
5. Marvel NOW Magento
Erik Lehnsherr or Magneto has always been a key player of the X-Men, having first appeared as the team's foe during their first issue. Jack Kirby's original design made Magneto such a memorable villain. While he'd receive some fashion mishaps such as his purple M jumpsuit in the '80s, his original appearance would remain fairly consistent even as the roster of X-Men would change throughout the years.
But after the death of Charles Xavier during the end of Avengers vs. X-Men, Lehnsherr would ditch the red and purple for something more fitting and sombre. Now sporting a white costume as well as a sleeveless look, Erik joined the morally compromised Cyclops and his rogue X-Men during the Marvel NOW era as they fought harder for mutant rights.
Even recently, during the latter half of the 2010s, Magneto has continued to sport more muted colours whether it's black or white. With similar colours to his Marvel NOW redesign, he finally joined Charles Xavier as they formed a mutant nation in House of X.
