10 Classic Villains Reimagined By Batman '66
7. Ra’s Al Ghul
Batman '66 Meets Wonder Woman '77 is an epic tale that spans decades and introduces us to both the '66 version of Ra's al Ghul and his daughter Talia.
The story begins in the 1940s, with a young Bruce Wayne and Talia trying to hide a book from both the Nazis and Ra's, which holds information on the locations of ancient treasures.
Then, in the 1960s, the dynamic duo travel to Paradise Island to assist Wonder Woman in trying to stop Ra's from locating and using the island's secret Lazarus Pit, a pool that holds the secrets to eternal life and helps Ra's stay young forever.
In the concluding act, set in the seventies, Ra's learns there is another pit hidden somewhere beneath the Arkham Institute.
This version of Ra's Al Ghul is based on Christopher Lee, the legendary British actor who is known for iconic villain roles such as Count Dracula, Bond villain Scaramanga, Sith acolyte Count Dooku, and the evil wizard Saruman.
Batman '66 Meets Wonder Woman '77 also introduces us to the '66 version of Nightwing, a guise worn by an older Dick Grayson who has stepped into his now retired mentor's role as guardian of Gotham.
