10 Classic Villains Reimagined By Batman '66

6. Killer Croc

Batman 66 Harley Quinn
DC Comics

Waylon Jones is quite a sympathetic character in the Batman comics. Sure, he may be a giant man crocodile intent on killing and eating his victims due to his reptilian blood lust, but that is only due to being born with a mutation that kept him scorned by society for his nightmarish looks.

In Batman '66, however, his origin (as well as pretty much everything else set in this brighter universe) is a far more jovial affair. Jones works as a henchman for King Tut, and the wannabe Egyptian king transforms Waylon into the hideous scaly foe we all know and love thanks to an elixir.

Croc then goes on a rampage with his newfound monster strength in an attempt to become Gotham's number one criminal, only to be defeated by Batman and Robin deep down in Gotham's sewers and handed over to the appropriate authorities.
