10 Classic Villains Reimagined By Batman '66

2. Poison Ivy

Batman 66 Harley Quinn
DC Comics

Despite being created in 1966, Poison Ivy was never featured in the Batman '66 TV show. This is a great shame, what with her sultry looks, femme fatal attitude, and groovy plant controlling powers; Ivy would have been a great fit in the camp and colorful universe, as her comic appearances have proven.

Young Pamela Isley and her parents were renowned botanists who ran the Isley Nursery in Gotham City.

After her father was exposed to a poisonous plant mislabeled harmless and blaming Gotham University for not finding a cure, Isley moves south with her mother.

She studies hard to improve her botany skills and increase her poison immunity, eventually learning how to control the plants. She returns to Gotham with her new abilities, hell-bent on vengeance as the supervillain known as Poison Ivy.

Ivy rightfully became a fan favorite in the comic series, appearing in no less than eight issues.
