10 Comic Book Animals Who Should Be In A Movie

7. Pizza Dog

Lucky, or Pizza Dog as he came to be known, was a leading element in one of the greatest comics published in this generation. In Hawkeye #11, the story was told entirely from the viewpoint of Lucky, a brave dog that came into contact with Clint Barton. There was a remarkable sense of purity in the issue, written by Matt Fraction, that gave Lucky all sorts of instant charm. And unlike the other animals on this list, Lucky is one of the few that has no powers to speak of and is just a plain old mutt. This makes Lucky's potential debut in the MCU even more desirable, as the character of Hawkeye has been handled rather poorly by the film franchise. While Jeremy Renner would be an excellent Hawkeye in capable hands, at the moment he's got the personality of a wet noodle. By bringing in Lucky, you can take steps to rectify the horrible creative decisions made with the character, and create yet another different kind of superhero film. The prospect of seeing Lucky and Hawkeye have a street-level adventure together is wonderful, which means that it probably won't happen, but it's fun to dream.
