The Flb'Dbi - whose name is a reference to the children's show "Bill and Ben", thanks to their catchphrase of "flobadop", which creator John Byrne would have been familiar with in his youth - are a race of aliens, some of whom have become associates of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel comic books. They are an ancient race who came from the planet Jhb'Btt, which is in the Beta Lyrae system of the Milky Way galaxy, but a group of the species had based themselves in the Arctic around the Magnetic North Pole upon their arrival on Earth. They are strange-looking creatures, less than four foot in height. which look like insects crossed with frogs with afro hairstyles. They possess telepathy and can live for up to several thousand years. A particularly well-known member of the race includes Primus - the lead explorer of a Flb'Dbi colonisation party that came to Earth over half a million years ago.
