5. Lobo
Lobo is one of Superman's more colorful rogues. Like Supes, Lobo is the last of his kind, a species called the Czarnians. Known as one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy, Lobo has come to blows with both Superman and the Justice League.
As a bounty hunter, there isn't a bounty that Lobo is above going after if the money is right. In his first encounter with Superman, the two discovered they were evenly matched. A few more tidbits about Lobo can survive in the vacuum of space, is basically immortal, and he's been banned from both heaven and hell.
Because he's a bounty hunter and only motivated by money, Lobo isn't always bad. In fact, he's now mostly presented as an antihero. Recent incarnations of the character saw him as a member of the Suicide Squad, working closely with Amanda Waller.
