10 Comic Characters Who STOLE Batman's Identity

5. Jason Todd (Again) - Injustice

Joker Dressed As Batman
DC Comics

If at first, you don't succeed, try, and try again.

No matter how many times he seems to attempt being the bat, Jason Todd just can't seem to get it right. Despite appearing within the Injustice universe as Red Hood, he once again attempts to take up the mantle following the events of the first game.

Ra's Al Ghul becomes a rising power in Gotham's underbelly with many heroes and villains flocking to his side. Jason is no different and gets caught up in the web of lies spun by the immortal assassin.

After blowing the brains out of half of the Suicide Squad, Jason's Batman doesn't get to do much after that. Damian Wayne, now as Nightwing, pleads with Jason (who looks suspiciously like his Gotham Knights appearance) to help stop his grandfather from unleashing a killer Amazo-bot on the world.

No matter what role he plays, Jason also seems to be trying to live up to the impossible task of becoming Batman but his own hatred keeps getting in the way. Even during his appearance in Batman: Arkham Knight, it was to no-ones surprise that the mysterious figure was in fact Jason well before the game's release.

One day DC will hopefully stop trying to use Jason as a twist and more of a fleshed-out character.
