10 Comics That Never Got An Ending

6. Youngblood!

Daredevil The Target
Image Comics

Rob Liefeld and his team of media savvy and government-backed superheroes, Young Blood, could be a list all by itself with the number of times the title has been relaunched. The list of creators who at one stage or another worked on Young Blood is almost a who's who of comics best and brightest, including Alan Moore, Joe Casey and Mark Millar.

When Liefeld and co. Left Marvel back in the early nineties to form Image Comics; the first title they published was Young Blood, and it was an absolute smash selling millions of copies. The problem was that the success went to the creator's head, and he decided to run before he could walk by, launching dozens of titles based on his ideas. Image's poor business practices, changing audience tastes and internal rivalries led to Liefeld walking away and taking his characters with him.

After that the creator and the characters would fall into a familiar pattern. Liefeld would announce a new start for the book; with an all-star creative team. A few issues would ship, usually late and then nothing. A couple of years would pass, and then the process would begin again with a new team and yet another bold new direction.
