10 Craziest Punisher Villains
7. The Hood
After Parker Robbins came into possession of a magical cloak, he became a supervillain called The Hood. He didn’t realise until later that the cloak originated from the Dark Dimension and belonged to the demonic Dormammu. Every time Robbins uses the cloak, it gives Dormammu dominion over his soul.
When he learns his cloak was corrupting him, Robbins couldn't take it off since he found its power intoxicating. Over the years, he mastered the dark arts, giving him the ability to summon demons and resurrect the dead.
When the Punisher tried to assassinate Norman Osborn, he hired the Hood to take him out. The Hood performed a ritual to resurrect 17 supervillains and ordered them to kill the Punisher. Whoever succeeded would return to life permanently. Whoever failed would be cast back to Hell.
After the Punisher managed to defeat the Hood's army of supervillains, he initiated his contingency plan; he resurrected Castle's family. The Hood said Castle could go home with his wife and children if he gave up his life as the Punisher.
Refusing to have his loved ones be used against him, Castle burned his family to ash.
