10 Deadliest Comic Book Assassins (That You'd Totally Hire)

8. Roku

Deathstroke Justice League
Valiant Comics

While DC and Marvel are the big two in the comics world, they are certainly not the only two, and other companies have created kick-ass assassins in their comics pages.

Perhaps the best example of this is Roku, a supervillain and sometimes anti-hero from the Valiant universe. Before becoming Roku, this formidable martial artist and telepath was Angelina Alcott, an agent of MI-6 and partner/lover to Colin King, otherwise known as Valiant hero Ninjak.

Her relationship with Colin made her a target, and she was kidnapped by a mysterious organization headed by Valiant big bad Master Darque. Angelina was experimented on with both magic and science, wiping her memories but granting her an ability called body supremacy. In short, she can manipulate her body down to the cellular level, including stretching herself out, dislocating her joints, and the unusual ability to use her long red hair as a weapon.

She is currently employed by Weaponeer, a company which is, naturally, involved in manufacturing illegal high-tech weapons. Her specific role is bodyguard to the CEO; however, she ultimately is just another weapon, contracted out to those in need of her talents and killing anyone for the right price.
