10 Deadliest Comic Book Assassins (That You'd Totally Hire)

4. Deadshot

Floyd Lawton, better known as Deadshot, has been in DC canon for years, but recently has grown more well-known as a member of the Suicide Squad film.

Long before he met up with Harley Quinn and the rest, however, Deadshot was a well-known assassin for hire in the DC world. He specializes in firearms and never misses. Until he purposely pulled his shot and missed Harley in the Suicide Squad film, he had only ever missed one other target: Batman.

Lawton's skills are so advanced and the technology at his disposal so good that he can make killshots over long distances, even around corners. While he prefers firearms, he is also a skilled hand-to-hand and knife fighter.

When Lawton was a child, living in an abusive household, he accidentally killed his brother because of his unsteady aim with a gun. He swore to never miss a shot again and grew up not only an excellent sniper but with a strong disregard for human life.

His upbringing left him with deep mental scars, including a wish to die in a fantastic, dramatic fashion. This makes him an ideal candidate for the Suicide Squad, as he truly doesn't care whether he lives or dies on their missions.
