10 Directors Who Need To Step Into The Marvel Cinematic Universe

7. Justin Lin

While Justin Lin may well just be known as the Fast & Furious director, this is simply giving him a disservice. Lin has proven throughout his filmography that he is one of the strongest action directors working in Hollywood.

Justin Lin proved with Star Trek: Beyond that he could take someone else's franchise and blend his own style into it while also remaining true to the source material. Many critics claimed that Star Trek: Beyond was the most faithful Star Trek film of the new three.

Then we have Lin's action, which is often mind blowing. Lin shows great innovation when it comes to action due to the constraints of the Fast & Furious franchise. He really only has one thing to work with... cars. Yet he makes each film have pulse pounding, exciting action scenes. While the series has devolved into a superhero film with the amount of disbelief you have to suspend, the action is just too thrilling to ignore.

Lin would do great work with some of the more high octane characters in the Marvel universe. Could he be the man to reboot Ghost Rider?
