After what happened with Edgar Wright and Marvel regarding the Ant-Man film, it seems that Wright will never step foot into the MCU. That doesn't mean he's not a great choice to join their ranks though!

Wright's frantic style of directing offers the MCU a distinct flare that can occasionally be missing from some of their recent entries. This fast paced style would lend itself very well to some lesser known, more goofy characters who are yet to make an appearance in the MCU.

What makes Wright so unique is the way he can twist conventions and deliver something unexpected. All you have to do is look at the Cornetto Trilogy and see how he flips the conventions of action and horror to create unexpected comedy. Wright flipping the conventions of a superhero movie on its head is something that sounds ridiculously fun!
