2. Even Zombies Deserve Love (Walking Dead)
The Walking Dead TV show may be shocking at times, but even the most disgusting small screen moments are nothing compared to the darkest scenes found in the original source material. Although Robert Kirkman has populated the Walking Dead universe with a number of disturbing characters over the years, none are as vile as the Governor. After a hard days work leading the town of Woodbury, the Governor returns home to his daughter, who just so happens to be a zombie that he has chained up to keep close. That's right. The Governor keeps his zombie daughter 'alive' and feeds her flesh. That's certainly shocking in its own right, but at least that makes sense in a warped kind of way. There's arguably nothing stronger than a parents love. However, the Governor takes this love way too far when he removes his zombie daughters teeth so he can kiss her. On the mouth. For an extended period of time. Incest is disturbing enough, but when it's with a zombie too, all bets are off. I can't imagine this particular scene making it onto the show anytime soon and let's face it. You would be hard pressed to think of a more disgusting comic book moment than that, right? Wrong.
