10 Dream Creative Teams To Reboot Batman
4. Joelle Jones
Again, having one creator do both the pencils and writing for such a flagship book would be unlikely. However, Jones herself handled both the writing and art for the first two arcs of the current Catwoman title. This book has been pretty well-received by fans, its writing perfectly portraying the titular character and the art being similarly top-notch.
While the Cat may not end up featuring too often in the 2020 relaunch, Jones' talents would be more than suited to revamping the Batman, her pencils mixing a dark and moody reality with the exciting over the top action of comic books to create some enticing visuals for readers. Her writing takes a similar approach, giving characters just the right amount of ridiculousness to be entertaining as well as believably menacing, when necessary.
If DC did feel like giving Jones complete control of the title though, they should make sure to bring back Laura Allred and Josh Reed to maintain the exact same creative team from Catwoman.
