10 Dumbest Batman Moments You Won't Believe

9. A Child Named In Honor Of Batman - Batman #108

"Batman Jones" starts with a fairly interesting idea. In a world where Batman is the city's hero, and has saved countless lives, surely there would be children named in his honor. Which is how we are introduced to Batman Jones, a baby saved by Batman who grows up to be obsessed with his namesake. He wears a Batman costume and wants to fight crime alongside the Dark Knight, insisting that he has been "training."

Strangely, Batman agrees to let the child come along, all the time complaining that Batman Jones is too young to fight crime. Considering that Robin is also there, it brings up some uncomfortable question.

Dick Grayson was somewhere between 10-12 when he started fighting alongside the mid-twenties Batman. How old is old-enough for a child to be fighting violent full-grown men?

Batman and Robin try to scare Batman Jones off the superhero life. Probably because his backstory makes him undeserving of such honors. Turns out that the kid is a natural talent and he outwits the dynamic duo. Thankfully, they needn’t have been worried. Batman Jones finds the whole fighting crime thing a bit of a bore, and picks up a new hobby: stamp collecting.

West loves pop culture, movies, comics and TV-shows just as much as you do. Probably. Since you're reading this. Also, she has a cat. He's pretty awesome.
