10 Dumbest Decisions Marvel Heroes Have Ever Made

6. The Superheroes Of Earth Send Hulk Into Space - Incredible Hulk #91-112 (2006-2009)

Marvel Comics

Even though Hulk doesn't like taking orders, Nick Fury convinced him to go on a space mission to destroy a rogue space station. Shortly after arriving in the low-orbit vessel, the jade giant realised he had been sealed inside. As the station blasted out of the Solar System, a recording activated, displaying several of Bruce Banner's friends, including Reed Richards, Iron Man, and Doctor Strange. They inform the emerald-skinned superhero that they've tired of his acts of destruction and so, sent him to another planet.

Although Earth's heroes hoped the Hulk could live in peace on a different world, he landed on a war-torn celestial body called Sakaar, where he was tortured, enslaved, and forced to take part in gladiatorial matches for months.

Hulk eventually gathered a group of warriors called the Warbound to travel to Earth with him so he could exact his revenge on his so-called friends. Hulk's invasion was so devastating, he came close to permanently damaging the tectonic plates of Earth, which could've ended all life on the planet. His reign of terror could've been avoided if the superheroes of the world took less drastic measures than blasting the Hulk into the cosmos.
