10 Embarrassing Supervillains Marvel Wants You To Forget

2. Sugar Man

The Matador
Marvel Comics

Sugar Man is a bit of an oddity and that's not just because he's a giant ball with a mouth and four muscular arms. He's one of the only characters to make the transition from the Age of Apocalypse storyline into the mainstream Earth-616 continuity and there's no reason that should have happened.

The character was an evil biologist who worked to enslave the human population while serving under Mister Sinister and Apocalypse. He made his way to the mainstream by shrinking himself down to minuscule size and finding a home in Colossus' boot.

He then jumped into the M'Kraan Crystal and made his way to the Earth-616 timeline where he spent most of his ensuing time threatening the X-Babies.

He's a disgusting character in looks and personality, which begs the question as to why he was chosen from the Age of Apocalypse storyline to make his way to the mainstream continuity. He hasn't gone away either, but maybe he should...
