9. Spider-Man: Short Halloween - Bill Hader And Seth Meyers

Bill Hader and Seth Meyers are best-known for their work on Saturday Night Live but they have collaborated on lesser-known projects you may be unfamiliar with. In 2009, they joined forces to write the one-off story, Spider-Man: Short Halloween (which is an obvious play on the Batman: Long Halloween saga).

In this tale, Spider-Man patrols New York on Halloween when he encounters a vacuum cleaner-themed supervillain called Fumes. A hoover-oriented baddie may sound idiotic (and it is), but Fumes manages to daze Spidey with his own concoction of sleep gas.

As the wallcrawler falls down outside a nightclub, two costumed drunks mistake them for their friend, Ronnie, who is dressed as Spider-Man. In reality, Ronnie has been kidnapped by Fumes who is under the impression he is the real superhero!

Probably the funniest part is when Spidey wakes up and sees Ronnie's friends dressed up as Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin and attacks them, believing they are the real deal.

If you're a fan of Hader and Meyers' humour and are in the mood for something lighthearted, Spider-Man: Short Halloween is worth checking out.
