5. Owlman

crime_syndicate Origin: Owlman is a name held by several Characters in the DC Universe. These include Roy Ramond and Thomas Wayne Jr. Owlman is a member of the Crime Syndicate, which is essentially a super-villain version of the Justice League. In some interpretations, the Crime Syndicate has taken over a parallel Earth and planned to destroy "our" Earth. Each member of the Justice League had their own counterpart. In Batman's case, it was Owlman. Owlman was created as an evil counterpart to Batman due to the fact that owls prey on bats. The Owlman I'm referring to is the evil counterpart from a parallel Earth whom Batman has had to fight on some occasions. Abilities: Cause confusion (Seriously) Enhanced strength Martial Artist Array of Owl related gadgets First Appearance: Owlman first appeared in Justice League of America #29 in August 1964. In this story, the Crime Syndicate of America (CSA) grow bored of having taken over Earth-Three and attempt to take over Earth-One. Each member of the CSA is an evil counterpart of the JLA and so the battle began! However, by using a magic word (Volthoom) the CSA were able to teleport the JLA back to Earth-Three. However, the JLA eventually got free and did what they do best - Kick-Ass!
