10 Great Justice League Comics That Could Unite The DCEU

9. Tower Of Babel

It is safe to say Batman has trust issues. Keeping records of your teammates strengths and weaknesses - especially where they can be stolen - isn't a good look.

In Tower of Babel, this action threatens to split the League. Ra’s al Ghul steals Batman’s files on the Justice League, and uses them to defeat each member. The Dark Knight is not only forced to confront Ra's, but also to deal with his teammates, who feel understandably betrayed.

We have already seen a somewhat untrustworthy Batman in Batman V Superman (2015). The vigilante believed Superman to be a threat, stating “If there’s even a 1% chance he is our enemy, we have to take it as an absolute certainty.” We know he has files of his teammates, and so it's safe to assume he also noted down some weakness on there.

This would resolve re-casting issues that arise with bringing Batman back for a Justice League film. No offence to Ben Affleck, but his Batman is older than the one we will see in Matt Reeves Batman. Adapting this story lets Batman go off on his own adventures, and allows the Justice League to move forward.
