10 Great Justice League Comics That Could Unite The DCEU

Nothing unites a team of heroes like their villains deciding to work together. Justice was a story in the comics which acted as a throwback to the Super Friends cartoon from the 70s and 80s, from the team of Alex Ross, Jim Krueger, Ross, and Doug Braithwaite.

In the comic, the Justice League goes against the Legion of Doom: a classic match-up which would be cool to see on the big screen. The Legion of Doom has already been teased in the post-credit scene of Justice League (2017) where Lex Luthor and Deathstroke decide to make “a league of their own”.

Other Legion of Doom members has been seen on the screen including Black Manta in Aquaman, and more coming soon, such as Cheetah in Wonder Women 1984. Seeing these characters join forces Lex and Deathstroke would unite the DCEU heroes and villains.

When working on the comic, Ross says he wanted to break away from the 90s fixation with superhuman wars and focused on The World's Greatest Super-Heroes. This seems like it would be a logical step for the DCEU too, as Warner Brothers have struggled with these big-budget superhuman wars.
