10 Great Justice League Comics That Could Unite The DCEU
4. JLA: Year One
This Justice League story from Mark Waid, Barry Kitson, and Brian Augustyn, was a rebooted and re-imagined origin for the Justice League after Crisis. The story details the first year of the League, and allowed readers to see the superheroes develop as a team.
This was an aspect missing in the 2017 film, and something many fans would enjoy. The comic replaced the founding members with previously smaller and supporting characters taking leadership roles, resulting in the trio of Batman, Superman and Wonder Women were apart of the team support group without being official members.
If a crisis and reboot were to happen in the DCEU, this story would be a great way to re-establish the Justice League in the DCEU without having to focus on the trio, allowing them to have their solo adventures, or perhaps having a film or two focusing on the trio.
A film adaptation of this comic would provide a push for a trio film as much as it is for a new Justice League team. The Arrowverse has shown that audiences do care about the Justice League, regardless of who is in it.
