7. Jenny Quantum

Jenny Quantum is the spirit of the 21st century and was born at the exact moment of the passing of the spirit of the 20th century.

She was born on the 1st of January in the year 2000 and just after the point of her birth, an evil team of super folk attempted to kidnap Jenny and intended to use her as a weapon. They battled the Authority on two occasions with the good guys finally prevailing.

Jenny was then adopted by the loving couple of the team and it was later discovered that she was actually one of twins and they shared the power of the 21st century.

The vastly more evil twin was defeated in an incredibly dark comic that really needs to be read to be appreciated. Jenny then used her powers to age herself to teenage years and became the full force of the 21st century.
