10 Heartwarming DC Comics Moments That Made Fans Cry

7. Wonder Woman And The Minotaur

In a sentence that would never be able to be said in any other situation, one of the most heartwarming moments of the 2014 Wonder Woman run comes from a Minotaur not killing the superhero, proving for an entirely unique situation.

In Wonder Woman (2014) #35, Wonder Woman is beaten by First Born - Zeus' first son and the series villain - who then orders his minion to finish her off. There's one key flaw in this, however, as said minion is Minotaur, who remembers Diana sparing his life in the past, and refuses to kill her.

He is murdered for this refusal, but the integrity and respect shown by a character who is conventionally a villain is more than a little heartwarming.

Sometimes minor characters can get a little ignored for the hero of the story. But with this, there's a little reminder that for every hero, there are a fair share of people who sacrificed themselves for them.
