Although seeing how far a grief-stricken batman is willing to go is unnerving, it is also entirely heartwarming, as the hero literally fights Darkseid - one of the most powerful characters in DC - to bring his boy back.

Just how touched Damian is at the knowledge of what his family must have been through to bring him back is also a pretty solid emotional moment.
