Wally West arguably has one of the most difficult times ever in and after the events of Flashpoint. Not only is he trapped unable to escape inside the Speed Force, but he's also basically wiped from the timeline so nobody even remembers he exists to come rescue him.

It's a pretty rough experience, which makes it all the more special when Wally finally reunited with his dear old mentor. Wally focuses on seeing his mentor - Barry Allen - one last time, to thank him for everything before being trapped in limbo forever - and then not only does the Flash recognise him, but he also saves him.

Given the two have always had a pretty close mentorship in the comics, it's heartwarming to see just how deeply both care for one another, and are willing to fight for one another.

It's one of Wally's last moments as Kid Flash - as he later takes on the role of Flash - and really serves to remind you just how far the 'Kid' has come up until this point.
