9. Deadpool Becomes War
We all know that Wade Wilson is capable of dishing out some serious damage, but it's also been made repeatedly clear over the years that, unless he feels he has to, he's not always going to just lop your head off.
He's no pacifist - except for the brief period where he picked up that white outfit to try and be, which failed pretty badly - but he's also become increasingly inclined to try and go the route of not murdering everyone within sight at the drop of a hat.
That said, when an alternate universe where Deadpool has become the Horseman of the Apocalypse known as War shows up, you're not likely to be surprised. A person with infinite regeneration abilities and a notorious love of using it to get in big fights is probably a perfect match for the title of War, even if it does suggest his laid back persona is dropped here for something more bloodthirsty.
War was yet another of the various alternate Wades to die in the Deadpool Kills Deadpool series, but we can still hope against logic to maybe find out just how messed up the universe he comes from is.
