10 Insane Alternate Versions Of Punisher You Won't Believe Exist

3. Marvel Universe Vs The Punisher

Punisher cosmic ghost rider
Marvel Comics

With the whole world watching, Spider-Man battles Rhino through the streets of New York. Crashing into Madison Square Garden right in the middle of a ice hockey game, it looks once again as if good has triumphed over evil. And it has - right up to the point ol' Spidey bites a giant chunk right out of Rhino's neck.

With a zombie pathogen raging out of control and everyone else seemingly infected, an immune Frank Castle will have to battle for survival against the undead hordes in the only way he knows how - with a truckload of guns.

Released in 2010, Marvel Universe vs The Punisher takes everyone's favourite anti-hero and drops him slap bang in the middle of the Apocalypse, which suits him down to the ground. Written by Jonathan Maberry and illustrated by Goran Parlov, the end of the world scenario is the perfect place for Frank to do what he does best, and this time at the expense of some seriously cannibalistic Heroes and Villains.

They all come for him and they all fall in the end, after the other survivors have been saved, he stays behind in Manhattan to finish the job.
