1. Mr Freeze

Have you been wondering what Mr Freeze has been up to lately? Well, the answer is pretty simple. He quit.

Considering that no-one really cares for the villain outside of Arnie's hilarious portrayal, it made a lot of sense that he would retire. And let's face it, he didn't really do much anyway. Dr. Fries spent all of his time trying to cure his wife's cancer, which led to the accident that made him this way in the first place.

The only reason he became a villain is the fact that Batman wouldn't let him get on with his research. Every time he seems to make any progress, the Bat steps in and puts a stop to his work over various disagreements.

The two have had a very rocky relationship, but have always remained close. During a visit to Arkham, Mr Freeze helped take down a Joker-ised version of Clayface and earned his freedom in Bruce's eyes.

However, the good doctor had a change of heart and simply dropped to the ground to make snow angels, declaring he wasn't going to leave the Asylum as he had nowhere to go.

He's back in action nowadays, but we'll never forget Victor's penchant for hibernation.
