10 Little-Known Supervillains That Could Make DC Millions

1. Phobia

Whatever you're afraid of, you're afraid of Phobia.

Her power involves making you see whatever you're most afraid of, much like the Boggarts in Harry Potter. Rather than actually taking their form though, Phobia only creates illusions. She's able to attack the fear centre of your mind and force you to see your terrors manifest in front of her, so similar to Scarecrow but without the gas.

Nothing quite lets you understand a person in the way knowing their deepest, darkest fears does. Having Phobia in the DCEU could allow us to have that experience with the classic heroes already established in the movies, as well as letting directors run wild with special effects in new, inventive ways which don't involve explosions. The DCEU has already shown itself to be quite shameless when it comes to ripping off the MCU, so copying Spider-Man: Far From Home's Mysterio illusion scene only seems natural.

As a member of the British aristocracy, Phobia offers a bit of a new angle to explore as well, while her own fear (being alone) provides depth, if the DCEU truly wish to plumb it. If DC really want to go all out, they could bring the whole Brotherhood of Evil along too.
