10 Little-Known Supervillains That Could Make DC Millions

5. Morgaine Le Fey

Vandal Savage DC Comics
Warner Bros.

If Lady Blaze doesn’t scratch your demonic woman itch, perhaps Morgaine Le Fey can be of service. Based off the mythical sorceress and half sister of King Arthur, the DC version has some differences from the character found in classic literature, but the inspiration remains incredibly clear.

She was created by Jack Kirby, who worked for DC in the 1970s but is most famous for his time at Marvel decades earlier. Often working in conjunction with Stan Lee, Kirby helped create Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, Thor, Hulk, the concept for the Avengers and the X-Men and, away from Stan Lee, Captain America.

While Le Fey isn’t in their heady company - and isn’t a truly ‘new’ character anyway - she could still be a big moneymaker for DC.

A gifted sorceress, her proficiency for black magic could be very cinematic if used well. While immortal, she’s a bit more interesting than most in this regard, as she has to steal from others to retain her immortality.

She’s featured in a fair few DC cartoons down the years, but is yet to get off the bench for anything live action. In the future though, there’s every chance.
