10 Little Known Supervillains That Could Make Marvel Millions

3. The Hood

Mephisto Marvel
Marvel Comics

Of all the entries in the list, the Hood has arguably the most curious backstory. Parker Robbins was just a regular thief who had broken into a warehouse. Now normally thieves would fear running into security guards, burglar alarms or maybe even the police. What they don’t expect, is to run into a demon. But not only did Parker encounter a demon, he also murdered it with a bullet shot. They just don’t make demons like they used to I suppose.

If it wasn’t strange enough already, the next part is even odder. Disappointed with a lack of loot, Parker decides to take the demon’s belongings, namely a hood and boots, as a consolation prize. As you can guess, demon wardrobe is no cosplay gear. After he wears the aforementioned apparel, it grants him various supernatural powers.

As strange as his origin is, the rest of his arcs are nothing but solid. He grows into this persona of the Hood. The more power he uses, the more he desires. His burgeoning reputation as a supervillain eventually brings him into confrontation with the Avengers. The most noteworthy of which was his attempt at stealing the Infinity Stones.

The nature of his character lends him a certain kind of versatility when it comes to a potential adaptation. The Hood could easily slot into any of the MCU films and prove a worthy counterpart opposite one of the heroes.
